Who would have predicted this outcome? Me! This game turned out just as I expected. Dominated by an awesome Giants defense and solid offensive play. It was a great game from start to finish.
I'm totally neutral with both teams as I am not a real fan of either. However, I backed the Giants for numerous reasons. They had the talent to win obviously, I despise cheaters in any form. If you have to cheat to gain an unfair advantage you do not deserve to win. Also, this win was good for New York as a whole. Aside from the Yankees, it's been a while since they've produced a winner.
Back to the game, Tom Brady was under fire all night. Strahan and the guys really laid it to him. I firmly believe that all games are won in the trenches and this game was not any different. The Giants D-Line dominated The Patriots O-Line. I've never seen Brady take this much punishment in one game.
The Giants showed a true desire to win. Championships start with the defense and this is where the game was won.
